Attention Seniors: Get help filing your FAFSA and you could win a $1,000 college scholarship! The LAUSD Foster Youth Achievement Program invites you to attend a financial aid completion workshop, just for foster youth. Seniors will get help with their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or the California Dream Act Application for undocumented youth. You¿ll also learn about financial support and other services available to foster youth through the DCFS Independent Living Program. We¿ll have pizza and a student prize drawing, plus every student who completes their application will be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship! What You¿ll Need to File FAFSA: -Legal Name (as listed on your Social Security Card) -Social Security Number or Alien Registration Number -2016 tax return or information about your 2016 earnings, if applicable -Personal email address -List of up to 10 colleges that you want to receive your information
